HEALTH HAZARD DATA

KNOWN HAZARDS: Irritation. Can cause sensitization with repeated and prolonged contact.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE: Can cause eye and skin irritation. Corneal injury is not likely. Sensitized individuals can develop an allergic skin response, e.g. itchiness, redness, etc.

CARCINOGENICITY: No ingredients are classified by IARC, NTP, or OSHA as known or potential carcinogens.

PRIMARY ROUTES OF EXPOSURE: Dermal. Inhalation.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: Eye, skin and respiratory conditions.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES

EYES: Immediately flush with plenty of water. Call a physician.

SKIN: Practice good hygiene i.e. Wash hands and any exposed skin during breaks and after work. Get medical attention if irritation persists.

INHALATION: No first aid should be needed. If ill effects occur, move to fresh air. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention.

INGESTION: Induce vomiting only if large amounts of material are ingested, otherwise do not induce vomiting. Consult a physician.

CONTROL MEASURES AND PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

VENTILATION: General (i.e. natural or mechanically induced fresh air movements that maintain vapor concentrations below recommended exposure limits).

EYE PROTECTION: Safety glasses with side shields recommended in most industrial settings.

SKIN PROTECTION: Neoprene or rubber gloves recommended. Cotton gloves may be suitable.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Respiratory protection is not normally needed for this product. If air movement is inadequate to control vapors or if discomfort occurs, wear a NIOSH-approved respirator suitable for organic vapors. Refer also to the MSDS for CC 251 EP Part B (curing agent).

PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USE

HANDLING AND STORING PRECAUTIONS: Store in a cool dry place. Keep from freezing. Reseal all partially used containers. Wash with soap and water before eating, drinking, smoking or using toilet facilities

SPILL PROCEDURES: Remove with an absorbent such as clay and place in disposal containers. Wash area with water to remove residue.
